This procedure defines how a tester verifies a resolution of a defect report.

Input Documents

Entry Conditions

• A defect report in Pending Verification status.
• The report has been assigned to a tester.

Procedure

1. Open defect report.
2. Replay the steps that reproduced the defect.
3. If the defect has been fixed, clicked the Close Issue link under Available Workflow Actions to the left of the screen.
4. Complete the Close Issue screen.
5. Click the Close Issue button.

Exit Condition

• Resolution has been verified and is in Closed status, or
• Defect is in Reopened status.
